Egypt's History

641- In 641 Egypy became a prodominetly Arab nation after the Arab conquest.

1260- In 1260 Egyptain ruler and his forces stop the mongol advance of Ghangas Khan in Arab countries.

1517- In 1517 Egypt was conqoured by Sutlan Selimi and absorbed into an Ottoman Empire.

1882- In 1882 Britan need control over the Suez Canal thus resulting in British occupation.

1922- In 1922 Egypt won its independence while allowing British troops to stay and protect the Suez Canal.

1956- In 1956 Gamal Abdul Nasser a general in the Egyptian army became the first president of Egypt.
